This conference, held on 23 - 24 May 2012 in Manchester, was hosted by the NSPCC and Lancaster University, with sponsorship from the University of Manchester and Tribal.It provided a vibrant space for innovative, future-orientated dialogue and reflection sparked by new and emerging research on safeguarding children.
The parallel sessions adressed themes such as innovation in multi-agency practice; professional judgement and effective assessment; evidencing the child's journey; technology for practice change; and the judiciary and the 'best interests of the child'.
