CORE-INFO
A series of leaflets on aspects of physical and emotional child abuse

These leaflets are based on the
Cardiff Child Protection Systematic Reviews - a rolling programme of systematic reviews of published research literature on aspects of physical and emotional child abuse.
CORE-INFO leaflets make the key findings of the systematic reviews and implications for practice accessible to anyone working with children or young people. This is a collaborative project between the Department of Child Health at Cardiff University and the NSPCC.
This leaflet summarises what is currently known about children aged less than six years who have been emotionally neglected or emotionally abused.
Our CORE-INFO leaflet summarises what is currently known about the clinical presentation of inflicted head and spinal injuries in children.
Examines the relationship between fractures and physical abuse.
A leaflet about how to differentiate accidental from non-accidental bruises.
Summarises what is currently known about oral injuries and human bites in relation to child abuse.
Our CORE-INFO leaflet can help you identify scalds and burns sustained by children that may be the result of abuse.
