Events in schools

Has your school recently fundraised for the NSPCC?

If so, you are one of more than 500,000 children who have helped the NSPCC raise nearly 2m in 2004, so...

Thank You!

The NSPCC aims to end cruelty to children. To help us do this we need a lot of cash. Guess how much...

a) 50p
b) £2.50 and a bag of chips (to keep us going)
c) 250 million

If you said C, £250 million, you're right. Now that's a lot of money. But thanks to people like you and you and you, we know we can raise all that and more.

Every year the NSPCC and schoolchildren work towards this goal, holding 4,000 sponsored events countrywide.

Our events...

Raise money for a fantastic cause

Are educational

Are fun-filled.

chools all over the country are raising money for the NSPCC. Why don't you?

Schools all over England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands are helping us raise money to help us end cruelty to children.

So why don't you?

Our specially-trained fundraisers give presentations on a range subjects, such as the work of the NSPCC, bullying and keeping safe.

When we have visited school, children tells us they really like the talks and they make them want to get involved.

At a school in Shrewsbury, 3,733 was raised by just 167 pupils. How good is that?

Hundreds more schools hold their own fundraising events. Things likes sponsored spells, talent shows, no uniform days and cake stalls. There's so many diffrerent fantastic events you can organise to raise money for the NSPCC.

chools all over the country are raising money for the NSPCC. Why don't you?Another school who supported us last year had a great time fundraising. and they raised an incredible 12,000 in 2003,

Every class in the school held their own fundraising event. Pretty impressive...

The grand "finale" of the school's fundraising was a sponsored silence day, which raised 4,000.

£4,000 for being quiet for a day? Could you do that?!

But it's not important how much you raise. Every penny counts.

Whether you and your school have donated 1, 100, 1,000 or even 10,000 to the NSPCC, your donation helps us to make a difference to children in need of our care and protection.

Would you like your school to get involved in some FUNdraising action? If so, please ask your headteacher to email us at schools@nspcc.org.uk.
