I am:

Royal Windsor Clay Pigeon Shoot

Press Releases - 26 June 2009

HRH The Countess of Wessex today (25 June 2009) generously hosted the Royal Windsor Clay Pigeon Shoot to raise £100,000 for ChildLine and Dyslexia Action.

Fifteen teams enjoyed a once in a lifetime experience of shooting in the private area of Royal Windsor Estate, which is seldom available for a public shooting event.

ChildLine president and founder Esther Rantzen said: "We had sunshine - and the glory of Windsor Park - and extraordinary skill all for two brilliant causes! It was an amazing day. The money raised for both ChildLine and Dyslexia Action will make a real difference to the children who need our help."

Shirley Cramer, Chief Executive of Dyslexia Action concluded: "We are delighted by the response to this collaborative event - the first of its kind for Dyslexia Action.  It will make an enormous contribution towards helping both charities through the Dyslexia Action Bursary Fund and by helping ChildLine to answer more calls."
