Staples Christmas Paper Chain campaign
One of the NSPCC's corporate partners, Staples, the office supplies company, is running the Christmas Paper Chain campaign in the run-up to Christmas. The campaign is raising vital funds for ChildLine - the UK's free and confidential 24-hour helpline for children.
Shoppers at Staples branches across the country can donate £1 for a link in the paper chain in that store. The aim is for all the branches to have a huge, brightly coloured paper chain stretching from one end of the store to the other by Christmas Eve.
Staples Operations Director, Bill Walker said, "ChildLine does incredible work across the country and all our stores are aiming to raise as much as possible. What's great about the Christmas Paper Chain campaign is that it's fun and links back to an old Christmas tradition, and the same time will hopefully capture our shoppers' imagination and encourage people to make a donation."
