Pickfords' fantastic fundraising
We are delighted to announce that Pickfords’ fantastic fundraising efforts since July 2010 have raised a whopping £67,410 to support the NSPCC’s work with vulnerable children.
Over the last 18 months, money has been raised in a variety of ways by Pickfords staff and customers – from marathon runners to skydivers - as well as the Clothes Aid scheme whereby customers donate old clothes and books.
“It's a phenomenal achievement and we're very excited to be continuing to work with Pickfords in 2012."
Svetlana Kirov, NSPCC Head of Corporate Partnerships
Svetlana Kirov, Head of Corporate Partnerships said, “The NSPCC is delighted to have received almost £70,000 from Pickfords staff and customers in 2010/11. It’s a phenomenal achievement and all the funds raised have allowed the NSPCC to continue its vital work of helping to end cruelty to children. We're very excited to be continuing to work with Pickfords in 2012, and I'm sure next year will be another great success for both Pickfords and the NSPCC.”
We’ve been completely bowled over by everyone’s support and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Pickfords for all you have achieved.
