Mind your fingers! BT ArtBox eBay auction launches at London Aquarium

The BT ArtBox eBay charity auction in support of ChildLine has been launched at the London Aquarium, and to mark the occasion brave divers took a dip in London Aquarium’s shark tank with a specially designed BT ArtBox.

The auction is the culmination of the BT ArtBox project, the London-wide open-air exhibition involving over 80 leading creative talents, who have taken inspiration from the Gilbert Scott-designed telephone box and transformed replicas in their own unique styles.  From to Soho to Stratford and from the Tower of London to Trafalgar Square, these newly designed telephones boxes have been showcased across the capital since 18 June, celebrating a much-loved British icon and an important part of our design heritage.

For a limited two week period, ending on 22 July, the public is being offered the chance to buy over 53 different BT ArtBoxes from the exhibition via online bidding on eBay, in support of ChildLine.

The exciting public auction includes unique artwork from celebrities, sculptors, royal academicians, famous fashion, interior and graphic designers and digital artists. The auction is now live on eBay so why not see if there's an ArtBox that ticles your fancy?
