Paul Heathcote goes the extra mile for ChildLine
Top Lancashire chef, Paul Heathcote MBE, is celebrating after raising an amazing £5,000 for ChildLine.
Paul, who owns several restaurants and catering contracts around the North West is a longstanding supporter of ChildLine and raised this fantastic sum through a number of events including a ladies master class and gentleman’s lunch earlier this year at his Longridge Restaurant.
He also successfully completed the recent London Marathon for ChildLine in an amazing four hours and 17 minutes. In addition to this fantastic achievement, Paul will be supporting the NSPCC’s Blackpool Glitter Ball on 19 May, with Heathcotes providing a delicious three-course dinner and also donating a fabulous prize to the luxury auction of a special cookery course for two with lunch at Heathcotes Longridge restaurant.
Janette Drew, NSPCC community fundraising manager said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to Paul for his commitment to the NSPCC and for raising such a fantastic amount which will help us make significant strides for children across the region As a volunteer-led charity we rely on the generosity of the public and we are especially grateful to Paul for his continuous support and helping to bring in the pounds for ChildLine.”
