I am:

How you can help

Yorkshire and the Humber

"I live in West Yorkshire and my my husband and I have been NSPCC volunteers for over 50 years. We are part of the NSPCC Huddersfield Lepton committee that helps plan and organise the NSPCC's HACK hiking challenges (Hike Against Cruelty to Kids).

"It's hard work at times, but we find it really rewarding and would encourage other people to get in touch with the NSPCC to see how they can help. Even volunteering a few hours a month can make a real difference to children's lives."

Getting involved in your area

Thanks to our vibrant network of community volunteers, business groups, and service volunteers, we're able to continue providing services for the most vulnerable children in Yorkshire and the Humber.

If you want to get involved with the NSPCC in your community, there's a whole range of things you can do to help. We hope you'll also meet other like-minded supporters, and have a great experience at the same time. Get in touch to find out how you can get involved locally.

You could volunteer for the ChildLine Schools Service, a role that involves presenting safeguarding assemblies and interactive workshops to primary school aged children.
