How the NSPCC is organised
We are inspired by a belief that we can make a difference for all children – by standing up for their rights, by listening to them, by helping them when they need us and by making them safe.
Our constitution and governance
The NSPCC is the only UK children's charity with statutory powers to safeguard children at risk of abuse. We are governed by a Royal Charter and bye-laws granted by Queen Victoria in 1895.
The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees set the direction of the NSPCC and ensure that it is run properly, together with the chief executive and the Leadership Group.
