What we have achieved
Thanks to your generous donations we are now there for children however and whenever they need us.
How you've helped
Because of your help we have recruited more volunteer counsellors and supervisors to ChildLine, as well as additional staff to the NSPCC Helpline. New networks and PCs were installed so that ChildLine could offer online counselling for the very first time, and the NSPCC Helpline also invested in new technologies to improve the reporting of children identified as at risk of abuse.
Since the Appeal launched, the NSPCC Helpline have answered more than 50,000 calls from adults with concerns about a child.
Between April 2008 and December 2009 we counselled over one million children and young people through ChildLine - that's the equivalent of over 11 capacity crowds at Wembley stadium, or 33,000 classrooms full of children!
We still need your help
We still desperately need funds because children continue to phone ChildLine and log on to ChildLine.org.uk in search of help, and because there are many children who are too young or vulnerable to help themselves, who need an adult to contact the NSPCC Helpline on their behalf.
Every call answered could save a child's life
The hardest thing for an abused child is to speak out - please help ensure that every child gets the help they need.
What difference can you make?

I dread to imagine what happens if children's voices aren't heard and they continue to suffer in silence. By providing helplines reaching out to children and adults alike, the NSPCC enables children to have a voice. Everyone can help ensure these cries for help are heard. Please support the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal.
