Priorities and programmes
Find out more about the NSPCC's seven priorities and the programmes we have developed to tackle these issues.
Our priorities
We are focusing on seven priority areas where we believe we can make the biggest difference.
Sexual abuse
Without help, sexually abused children can develop long-term social, emotional and mental health problems.
Children under one
Babies in the UK are eight times more likely to be killed than children of any other age.
Looked after children
Research shows that 62 per cent of looked after children enter care as a direct result of abuse or neglect.
Minority ethnic children
Minority ethnic children are disproportionately represented in child welfare services in England, and have been for more than a decade.
