Applying for your role

Once you have found a role within the NSPCC that you are interested in, you will need to complete and submit your application online.

At the bottom of the ‘job vacancy details page’ you will have three options:

  • Click here for essential job information - you need this information to be able to complete the person specification section of the application form.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this document.
  • Email these details to a friend - send the vacancy details to anyone you think may be interested in the role.
  • Click here to apply – this will take you to the application form

Initial screening questions

For some roles, candidates will be asked some initial screening questions to ensure they meet any specific entry requirements.  Once complete, candidates will be asked to login or register for their application.

Candidates who do not meet the entry criteria will be advised and an alternative role may be suggested instead.

About the application form

The person specification section of the application form gives you the opportunity to demonstrate the relevant skills and experience you bring to the role. You will need to relate your skills and experience to each of the criteria detailed in the person specification within the application pack.

Each section of the application form has a Tick here to mark this section as completed. This must be ticked on each of the sections when saving. A tick will appear next to each section as you complete it.

Once you have completed all sections, a Submit here button will appear allowing you to submit your application form to the NSPCC.

Change, update or review your application

Remember, you can come back to the application form at any time via the Login page , to change contact details or complete the form.

This is also where you would go to review any email communication we have sent you and where you would go to enter your referee details, should you be offered the post.
