What do you do?
Administrator for the HR department. It’s very busy, but varied. The Society is fair in its approach in terms of looking after its employees.
Why did you join the NSPCC?
Previously I worked within the private sector for a large mortgage brokers, within the HR field.
The opportunity to work within a successful and rewarding charity, and knowing that in some small way I contribute towards ending cruelty to children
What benefits are there?
The flexibility and location are great. It also offers a good work/life balance. Knowing that salary payments are very competitive within the market also helps, as does the offer of career progression.
What do you find rewarding about your job?
Being part of a great team with good communication, and knowing that the work I contribute is appreciated.
What values do you feel are important for working with the NSPCC?
Being given the opportunity of development and training within the organisation to ensure quality individuals are working together and focusing on the same overall objective. This way, together we will achieve what the society has set out to do
