Oscar winning actress Catherine Zeta Jones was appointed the third ambassador for the NSPCC in the autumn of 2005 with special reference to the FULL STOP Appeal in Wales .
Catherine and her husband, Michael Douglas, attended a private dinner for donors on behalf of the NSPCC in June 2006.
"My childhood in Wales was a very happy one, but I know that not all children were so lucky. I'm delighted that I can do whatever I can to support the work of the NSPCC (in Wales ) and would urge everyone else to do the same."
