Matt Stevens and Michelle Gayle support the BIG BIKE RIDE
England and Bath Rugby prop, Matt Stevens and singer Michelle Gayle have both taken part in separate photocalls to help promote this year’s BIG BIKE RIDE.
Matt happily cycled around Bath Rugby ground to prove that cycling really is fun, while Michelle Gayle joined children at a nursery to promote the BIG BIKE RIDE as a perfect way to spend time with all the family.
The BIG BIKE RIDE takes place on the weekend of 27-29 June 2008. People can either organise their own sponsored ride and set their own distance or take part in one of the organised bike rides in Sussex (20 July), Cardiff (26 July) and Newcastle (28 June).
Matt Stevens, said: "I'm hoping that hundreds of people will tackle the NSPCC's BIG BIKE RIDE. The BIG BIKE RIDE's all good family fun and it’s open to everyone. Please don't stand on the sidelines. Get into gear and raise some cash for the children who desperately need the NSPCC's crucial support services and helplines. Every distance you pedal helps makes a difference."
Michelle Gayle said: “I love cycling and the BIG BIKE RIDE is a brilliant opportunity to saddle up and get some fresh air in the lungs. The BIG BIKE RIDE is for people of all ages and fitness levels. Whatever distance you ride it will make a huge difference - whether you go it alone, ride with a group of mates or join forces as a family.”
