Put your best foot forward and pedal for the NSPCC

Actor and Strictly Come Dancing star, Ray Fearon is encouraging the nation to put their best foot forward and take part in the Big Bike Ride over the weekend of 29 June – 1 July 2007 to help raise money for the NSPCC.

Ray said: “As a father I find it hard to understand why so many children in the UK grow up in violent and abusive environments. As an actor I understand the importance of achieving your full potential. Sadly, many abused children find it much harder to achieve their goals because of the damage to their self worth. By taking part in the Big Bike Ride you will be making a positive difference to the future of children in the UK”

To order your free information pack, which is full of advice and handy cycling tips, log on to www.nspcc.org.uk/bigbikeride, or call the Big Bike Ride hotline on 0845 130 3073.
