NSPCC ambassador Peter Andre and Katie Price released a duets album on Monday 27 November 2006. The charity album entitled ‘A Whole New World’ will see ALL the royalties and money raised going to their five chosen charities and the NSPCC is one of the lucky beneficiaries.
Other charities supported by sales of the album are The Disability Foundation, Moorfields Eye Hospital (the Richard Desmond Eye Centre), Vision and Norwood Children & Families First.
The demand for a single release had been massive ever since Peter and Katie’s performance of ‘A Whole New World’ on BBC Children In Need in 2005. They wanted to produce more than a single and over the last year they carefully selected a number of love songs and up beat classics to record for the album.
Peter and Katie want the album to be fully in aid of charity to give something back and to raise lots of money. They said:
“The NSPCC wants to see a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential – and so do we!”
