Cherie Lunghi and Jennie Bond turn Art Critics for the NSPCC

NSPCC celebrity supporters Cherie Lunghi and Jennie Bond both gave their time this year to judge children’s drawings for inclusion in a fantastic 2007 calendar produced and sold by Marks and Spencer. Cherie said:

" I was delighted to be asked to support the NSPCC by judging the children's drawings in this calendar - although it was a very hard task as they were all so good!

The NSPCC is a charity that I wholeheartly support as it works with children of all ages to prevent abuse in all its terrible forms. The calendar will raise valuable funds to help them continue to help these children and young people throughout the UK so I do hope that the public will go out and buy it. The drawings are fabulous and remind you how precious childhood is."

The 12 month calendar features artworks by school competition winners and includes the comments made by both Cherie and Jennie about each drawing.

Marks and Spencer began selling the calendar in their stores during the summer of 2006 with 10% of the purchase price being contributed to the NSPCC.  Look out for it in your nearest Marks and Spencer store!
