NSPCC ambassador Peter Andre and his wife Katie Price were in London in February 2008 to make a special presentation to the NSPCC and the other benefiting charities of their album ‘A Whole New World’. The album was released in time for Christmas 2006 and was their way of trying to help some of the UK’s most deserving causes.
The album sold over 100,000 copies with all money raised going directly to the following charities:
The NSPCC
The Disability Foundation
Norwood
VISION
Moorfields Eye Hospital (The Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre)
Peter said: “We had such fun recording this and it’s great that it has helped raise money for people who really need it. It’s still on sale so we hope it continues to be just as popular”

Days later, Peter Andre was on a visit on behalf of the NSPCC speaking to young children in a primary school in Surrey. He spoke about his experiences of bullying as a young adult when he was growing up in Australia as well as why he chooses to support the NSPCC.
The children then took turns to ask Peter questions and he made sure that they all knew they can turn to ChildLine if they ever have any concerns and need support. Peter then took time to meet with the children who form the school’s council and hear all about their achievements.
