Actress Vicky Alcock was at an NSPCC Summer Concert in Halstead, Kent on Saturday 30 June 2007. Despite the bad weather conditions the concert raised approximately £2,000 for the NSPCC.
Vicky and her family who are local residents, listened along with other guests, to a variety of music including opera, jazz and show songs. Vicky also opened the concert and drew the raffle.
The Summer Concert was organised by the local fundraising branch of the NSPCC. All money raised will be used to support the NSPCC’s work with children and their families to prevent abuse and neglect.
