Alan Shearer 
When you have Alan Shearer at the forefront of a campaign, you know people will sit up and listen. And that's exactly what they did when he supported the NSPCC's Children's Day 2003.
Alan appeared in the award-winning national TV adverts that launched the FULL STOP Campaign in March 1999. Alan is also an active fundraiser and the NSPCC has benefited from the Alan Shearer Golf Classic.
As a household name Alan takes the name of the NSPCC into the lives of ordinary people and gives us a credibility and respect.
