NSPCC Hall of fame 2004

NSPCC hall of fame star Lesley Garrett CBE
Opera singer

Lesey GarrettNot only is Lesley Britain's most popular soprano, she is also a passionate supporter and fundraiser for the NSPCC. She has been involved in more than a dozen activities for us.

In 2000, Lesley eloquently took the Society onto a worldwide stage. She was filmed wearing an NSPCC T-shirt whilst singing at the last ever FA Cup final to be played at Wembley. It was the best five minutes of branding we've ever had.

Then in 2003, Lesley also teamed up with TV celebrity Paul O' Grady for a 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' Christmas special and together they won £32,000.

Lesley says:
"I am thrilled and honoured to be included in the NSPCC's inaugural Hall of Fame. Working with the NSPCC has given me an insight into the incredible work they do in this very difficult area and I am delighted to continue my support of their campaigns." Lesley Garrett
