Make a life-changing decision

The winner of the very first new Jaguar XJ is revealed at NSPCC's City Dinner

Bill from Ramsey in Cambridgeshire won the very first new Jaguar XJ in a once-in-a-lifetime competition to raise money for the NSPCC Child's Voice Appeal at the City Dinner, the NSPCC’s largest annual fundraising event.

Now in its 12th year, the City Dinner fundraiser raised approximately £170,000 towards the £50m needed by the Child's Voice Appeal to expand the Society's helplines. The money will help grow ChildLine services so it can be there for children in the UK whether they contact by phone, online or text. It will also help expand the NSPCC Helpline for all adults worried about a child.

“I entered the competition because it was for such a good cause but I never expected to win it. However I am absolutely delighted that I have and can’t wait to get behind the wheel.” said an ecstatic Bill.

Jaguar has been a long standing supporter of the NSPCC, “We’re delighted that the competition has helped towards its three year Child’s Voice Appeal. My Congratulations go to Bill who is now the proud owner of the first customer ready XJ to be produced." said Geoff Cousins, Managing director of Jaguar UK.
