Our work in Northern Ireland

We’re working to prevent child abuse in Northern Ireland. You can help us be there to support every child that needs us.

Abuse can ruin childhoods and the effects can last a lifetime. But with your help, we're working to prevent child abuse in Northern Ireland – and help children and young people who've been abused rebuild their lives.

Our services in Northern Ireland

We provide services across Northern Ireland to help give children and young people the support they need to thrive.

We have service centres in Belfast, Craigavon and Foyle. We work with children, families and professionals. We support parents and families in caring for their children and provide therapeutic assistance to help children move on from abuse.

We also provide help and support through the NSPCC helpline, Childline and our work with schools.

Volunteering

Join the fight for every childhood through one of our volunteering opportunities.

Join our schools service team as a volunteer to help protect children from abuse and give them the confidence to seek help if they ever need it.

Find a volunteer role

Childline has been a place for children to turn for over 30 years. But right now we can only respond to 3 out of every 4 children who need our help. Help us be there for more children in one of our volunteer roles.

Campaigning

We give a voice to children when no one is listening. We stand up for children across the UK by finding the best ways to prevent abuse and neglect. We work with government to strengthen policy and legislation and urge them to take action to better protect children. Become a campaigner and help us demand that all children are worth fighting for.
