Run the London Marathon in April 2024 to raise funds for Childline – a life-changing NSPCC service

The TCS London Marathon is the ultimate bucket-list event where you'll join 50,000 runners as you take on the UK's biggest marathon!

Childline is our free, 24-hour helpline for children and young people. The service offers confidential support for every child, whenever they need it.

In 2021/22, our Childline volunteers delivered over 200,00 counselling sessions to children and young people across the UK. When you run the London Marathon with #TeamNSPCC, you're making a difference.

Every step you take and every pound you raise could help us to be there for a child who needs us. Join our team today and we'll make sure the London Marathon is a challenge you'll remember.

Why run for the NSPCC?

Fundraising support via email. Access to a personalised training plan from our training partner Full Potential. Regular Zoom calls where you can talk to the training experts. You'll have everything you need and more!

Amazing on-the-day experience

The registration fee for the 2024 TCS London Marathon is £100. We ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise at least £2,200 to help us keep children safe.

Not everyone who applies for the 2024 TCS London Marathon is successful. If we're not able to offer you a place on #TeamNSPCC, we'll refund the £100 registration in full.

On event day, you'll be able to find us at various points around the route. In the morning, we'll be at the start area in Greenwich Park for a team meet and photo.

We'll have 6 #TeamNSPCC cheer stations around the course where your friends and family can join us to give you the loudest whoops and cheers as you pass.

And last but not least, we'll have a post-race reception just minutes away from the finish line where we'll have everything you need to feel like a champion. This includes a massage, food and refreshments, a glass of bubbly and that winning photo!

Our London Marathon charity place applications are now closed. Please register your interest to hear when places become available.

It takes place on Sunday 21 April 2024. You'll be joining around 50,000 runners as you take on the UK's biggest marathon! The world-famous route takes you past many of the capital's iconic landmarks, old and new.
