Take on this marathon distance trek through the stunning Giant's Causeway

Join #TeamNSPCC in the Giant's Causeway Challenge.  This challenge has you trekking a marathon distance along the dramatic Northern Ireland coastline of this UNESCO World Heritage site, the Giant's Causeway.   

Choose to join the challenge for one day or enjoy two nights accommodation before and after the challenge.

The Giant's Causeway Challenge

Starting near the iconic Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the route will take you through the entirety of the Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site, where you'll have time to take photos and witness the stunning views this area has to offer. The trek will continue past the Dunluce Castle and head towards the finishing point in Bushmills.  

Spend the weekend or join for just the day.

You have the option to stay in accommodation on the Friday night before you start your challenge on Saturday and then stay over again once you've completed your challenge. 

Or if you prefer, you can choose to sign up for the trek only, without accommodation and make your way to the start on the Saturday morning.

If you would prefer to join us just for the day, without staying in accommodation you can join the team for the trek only. 

Registration fee: £50 + raise a minimum of £240.

As the world is changing daily, so is the way people are fundraising and asking for sponsorship. We’re here to help you think of fundraising in a different and safe way during this time.

Did you know… Donations made via Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving are paid to the NSPCC once a week. This means that we can put every donation to use immediately – so we can continue to be there for children.

Here is our handy guide to how you might get your fundraising started during lockdown (and have fun at the same time!)

  • Online pub quiz - £100
    You don’t need to be at your local to hold a quiz, get online and use a video conference platform to host one instead. Ask individuals to donate in return for taking part. 
  • Hold an online class - £100
    You may be a teacher, fancy yourself as a fitness guru or can teach a musical instrument. If not why not reach out to friends and family to host a class on your behalf.
  • Have a clear out - £150
    Having a big sort out is great during anytime of the year. Sell your unwanted clothes and accessories online to rack up the cash.
