Number Day 2021

We hope you had a mathtastic day.

Thank you to everyone who took part in Number Day

We loved seeing everyone’s pictures on social media and we can’t wait to hear about the events across the UK and update everyone on the money raised for children.

Registered schools will continue to have access to the Number Day Resources site until the end of this term. All registered teachers already have a link to this page, however if you are having problems accessing this or have any questions, please email us at numberday@nspcc.org.uk.

How your fundraising makes a difference

This has been a difficult time for everyone, but many children have been experiencing abuse and neglect at home, increased risk online and further pressures on their mental health. It’s also had an effect on younger children, with an increase in children under 11 turning to our Childline service for help with mental health issues.

“I really want to get out of the house and be somewhere safe and happy. I’m scared that my parents will get angry and hurt me more if I tell someone.”*

"The pupils love it, and it builds motivational attitudes towards mathematics while ensuring all pupils know how to contact Childline if they need it. Thank you."
