For many children, a year of worry, with so much time spent at home, has had a devastating impact on their mental health. Others have felt trapped in unsafe homes, suffering abuse and neglect.
We must be here to protect and support children. Donate now and make this a better year for children.
"When I was 9, I was sexually abused by a close family member. By the time I was 12, it was destroying me. I spoke to Childline and they helped me build up the courage to confide in a teacher.
After suffering anxiety and depression, I was referred to NPSCC's Letting the Future In service, which helps children recover after sexual abuse, and had weekly therapy sessions.
It's made an amazing difference to me. I don't think I would be here at all now if it wasn't for the NSPCC."
