Right now, thousands of children across the UK are being abused.

Abuse can ruin childhoods. And for children suffering alone, the NSPCC can be their only hope.

Every year we help keep over a million children safer. We are here to listen, reassure, and take action to protect children. We support children and families to stop abuse from happening and help them recover if it does.

But we need your help to be here for every child.

When I was nine I was sexually abused by a close family member. But by the time I was 12, it was destroying me. I went into a spiral of depression and anxiety; having really bad nightmares and suicidal thoughts.

I was referred to the NSPCC’s therapy service. It’s made an amazing difference to me. It gave me this confidence I never had. I don’t think I would be here at all now if it wasn’t for the NSPCC.

Ways to give

Around 90% of our funding comes from our supporters, helping us reach children across the UK.

There are lots of ways you can support our work if you aren't able to donate online.

We've agreed to stick to a strict set of codes and a fundraising promise, which means we treat our supporters and donors with respect, fairness and honesty and we are always clear about how we raise money

Around 75p in every £1 we spend goes directly to helping children and young people. This includes working with children and families, our helplines, our Schools Service and child protection and awareness campaigns like PANTS. Read our latest Annual Report (PDF).
