Terms and conditions
By entering the NSPCC 60 Minute Challenge, you confirm you are 18 years or older and that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
If you are registering a team on behalf of other individuals, you hereby confirm that you have obtained the consent of those individuals to take part in the NSPCC 60 Minute Challenge and that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The NSPCC 60 minute challenge is 'an hour long physical distance challenge' completed, at your choice, by running, walking or jogging for 60 minutes, at the location of your choice before 2 October 2016 to raise funds for the NSPCC (the "Event").
- Participants can only register online.
- There are no entry fees or minimum sponsorship requirements.
- All children taking part must be accompanied or supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
- If you are entering any child/children as participants as part of a team, you hereby confirm that you are the parent/guardian of that child/children.
The NSPCC 60 Minute Challenge must be completed within 60 minutes.
You acknowledge that since participation in the event involves physical exertion, this may involve potentially or inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal injury (including death) and loss or damage to property. As such, participation is entirely at my your own risk.
By completing and submitting the online registration form, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, that you and any children you register to take part are healthy, fit and able to participate, you understand and have considered and evaluated the nature, scope and extent of the risks involved, and voluntarily and freely choose to assume these risks.
You understand that you may be at greater risk of illness or injury if you suffer an ongoing medical condition or a poor standard of health or fitness, or if you have pre-existing injuries. We recommend that you consult a doctor particularly if you have experienced a heart condition, stroke, unexplained chest pains, faintness, dizziness, shortness of breath, severe asthma, diabetes, muscle joint or bone problems or any other medical conditions that may make it dangerous for you to participate in physical activity.
We do not provide any insurance, whether life or medical or liability, for any illness, accident, injury, death, loss or damage that may arise in connection with the attendance at, and/or your participation in the event. You are advised to obtain such insurance if required.
Your data will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation.
Use of photos or film
We would love to receive your photos and videos from your 60 Minute Challenge.
By sending and/or uploading any photos and videos and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to the use of your name, voice or picture in any photo images or video footage broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of this event by us or the NSPCC in any future fundraising or publicity materials including national and regional press and on any of our website(s) as well as on the NSPCC's Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest accounts. In addition, you agree to us and NSPCC storing copies of such photo images or video footage and contact details in case we need to contact them.
All funds raised in this Event are for the benefit of NSPCC and you will let your donors or supporters know that their donations will benefit NSPCC and that any donations paid in advance will be held on trust by you for NSPCC and will not be refundable should you fail to complete the challenge or for any other reason, except in NSPCC's absolute discretion.
Change of address/contact details
If your address, contact details change after you have submitted your application you must notify us by email at email@example.com.

If any provision in these Terms and Conditions, whether in full or in part, is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other remaining provisions (in full or in part) shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect our liability for:
- Death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or a deliberate act or omission of us, our employees, agents or contractors;
- For breach of statutory duty;
- For fraudulent mispresentation;
- To the extent that liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights, remedies, liabilities or other terms implied or conferred by statute, custom, or the general law that impose any liability or obligation on us or the NSPCC.
You agree to fully and irrevocably indemnify and at all times hereafter to keep us and/or NSPCC indemnified, from any liability to any third party or other participant in the Event arising from your participation in the event or connected with any breach by you of any of these terms and conditions.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect any statutory rights to which the participant may be entitled to as a consumer.
We reserve the right to amend, remove or add any terms and conditions at any time.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
