Domestic Abuse, Recovering Together (DART)
Mums who have lived with an abusive partner can lose sight of their children's physical and emotional needs. And children can find it hard to talk to their mums about what has happened.
Through DART, children and their mothers can talk to each other about domestic abuse, learn to communicate and rebuild their relationship.
How you helped JB*
Before being referred to our DART programme by his school nurse, JB* had spent years of his childhood living in fear of his abusive dad.
Attending the DART sessions made him realise he wasn’t alone and helped lift a weight from his young shoulders.

How you can make a difference
Your support has made a real difference to the lives of so many young people across the UK, and we'd like to say a big thank you.
Around 88% of our income comes directly from generous supporters like you. Without this, many of our vital services would have to start closing down within 6 months.
Through monthly donations, responses to our cash appeals, taking part in events, and much more, we've achieved a lot together.
