Take on the NSPCC Milton Keynes Half Marathon and 10k
After a hugely successful event in 2017, this popular race is back for it's 20th year.
NEW FOR 2018: Owing to the increased popularity of the event, runners will enjoy an exciting new course starting at The National Bowl with a 10k option, ample toilet facilities, secure baggage drop, car parking, chip timing, water stations and medical support.
So, whether you're a serious runner looking for an exciting course for your personal best or a `fun runner’ wanting to raise as much as you can to support our work with vulnerable children, this is the event to put in your calendar today!
Every mile you run and every penny you raise will mean that when a child needs us, we're there. Together we can rebuild children's lives.
How you'll make a difference
Abuse changes childhoods, but so can we. By taking part in this event, you'll make sure that when a child needs a helping hand, we're there. Here's how your sponsorship could help:
- £3 could pay for our Speak out Stay safe programme to reach 1 primary school child, giving them the knowledge to protect themselves from abuse.
- £4 could pay for 1 of our trained volunteer counsellors to answer a child's call for help to Childline.
- £5 could cover the cost of answering a call to the NSPCC helpline.
- £555 could cover the cost for our Speak out Stay safe programme to visit 1 primary school and speak to every child aged 5-11.
