A child will contact Childline every 25 seconds. Donate now and help us be there for every child.

Childline counsellors are there to help children with the problems they're facing, online and on the phone, 365 days a year. Your support will help make sure we're there to listen and respond quickly when a child finds the courage to contact us.

Help us be there for more children

"I had nowhere to go and I didn't know what to do. I came to a phone box and decided to call Childline. It was great to be able to talk and feel listened to."

"It wasn’t easy opening up at first, but the Childline counsellor was really good at encouraging me, telling me that I was doing really well and brave for speaking out."

"I started to call Childline when I was 8. I was very angry and had a temper, so I talked to them about that and the violence at home."

How your money is spent

Boy talking to an NSPCC counsellor

During 2016/17 we spent £91 million on services and activities to make children and young people safer. This includes working with children and families, our helplines, our schools service and our child protection and awareness campaigns such as Share Aware.
