When we lose a loved one, it can be helpful to remember them in a practical and meaningful way. A gift given in their memory, to a cause that was dear to their heart, can help to bring consolation at a time of grief.
Flowers are a lovely tribute, but many people are also looking for a more lasting tribute for their loved ones. A gift given to the NSPCC in the memory of a friend or relative can help their memory to live on by funding our vital work for children and bringing us closer to a society where every child feels loved valued and able to fulfil their precious potential.
Giving a gift in memory
There are several ways you can give a gift in memory of a loved one to help the NSPCC’s work for children.
You can send a cheque, along with your own name, address and the details of the person you are remembering to the following freepost address:
Remembering someone special

Please make all cheques payable to 'NSPCC Registered Charity'.
You can make a donation over the phone by calling the Supporter Care team on 020 7825 2505. Please have your credit or debit card details available.
You can also make donations online but if you do, please send an email to supportercare@nspcc.org.uk, confirming the name of the person your gift is celebrating, as well as your name and the details of your gift. This will ensure we can acknowledge your donation in the most appropriate manner.
Collection envelopes
If you are organising a memorial service, the NSPCC can provide collection envelopes that make it easy for those attending the service to make donations to the NSPCC to celebrate the life of your friend or relative. Using these envelopes can also increase the value of the donations received in your loved ones memory, through the collection of Gift Aid.
If you would like to receive some NSPCC collection envelopes or would like to discuss your requirements further, please call the NSPCC’s Supporter Care team on 020 7825 2505 or email supportercare@nspcc.org.uk.
