Now seen as one of the most rewarding, well organised half marathons in the UK, everyone is made to feel welcome. Age and ability are no barrier to taking part.

This reputation was enhanced for the 2012 event when three Olympic marathon runners selected the race as a warm up for London 2012.  They were made to feel very welcome and duly took the first three places and broke the course record at 1:04:42.
