Almost 30,000 supported the Safety.Net campaign – thank you!

Please support our campaign and sign our petition NOW

A staggering 29,309 people took part in our Safety.Net campaign , to tell the Government that the internet must be made safer for children.

Thank you to everyone who added their support. We will be delivering the petition to the Government shortly.

The Safety.Net campaign called for sharing of child abuse images to be blocked, and for children who have been abused and had pictures or films of this abuse appear on the internet, to receive care and support.

Can you help?

Save the NSPCC 24 hour Helpline number to your phone.

Please save this number - You never know when a child will need you After lesson have been learnt from the Baby Peter case, we are urging everyone to save the NSPCC helpline number to their phones, and to act quickly if they suspect a child is at risk of harm.

By reporting concerns about the safety of a child to the helpline, you can help protect a child from suffering abuse.

Andrew Flanagan, Chief Executive of the NSPCC said: “We all must do everything in our power to stop more children dying in such horrific ways. One simple step is to make a note of our Helpline number and call immediately if anyone has concerns about a child.”
