Contact the NSPCC Helpline
You can contact our Helpline by calling 0808 800 5000 or emailing [email protected].
Our voice Helpline is available 10am–4pm Monday to Friday. You can email [email protected] at any time for free. You have the option to remain anonymous.
If we have not yet responded to you and your concerns for the safety of a child increase, please contact the police or local Children’s Services directly. Please be assured that we'll action all contacts that our Helpline receives.

Under 18?
Childline offers free, confidential advice and support whatever your worry, whenever you need help.
Right now, a child like Olivia needs Childline to answer their call… because they are being neglected, bullied, or abused.
The first call a child makes can be a life-changing call, and in so many cases we are the first people a child will reach out to. By donating monthly, you can help us train volunteers and keep Childline running 24/7. So, when a child is ready to tell someone about their abuse to make it stop, we are ready to answer.
Please give what you can and make sure Childline is there to answer calls every month.

Since my stepdad came into the picture it started off with him doing simple things like flicking me on the temple of the head, but now it’s got a bit more serious.
He pushed me over once and I fell backwards and hit my head on the corner of the bed.
Mum has also threatened to strangle me and hit me so hard that I ‘won’t be able to sit down for a week'. I don’t have anyone I can speak to.

Meeting standards

We've agreed to stick to a strict set of codes and a fundraising promise, which means we treat our supporters and donors with respect, fairness and honesty and we are always clear about how we raise money
How your money is spent
Almost 75p in every £1 we spend goes directly to helping children and young people. This includes working with children and families, our helplines, our Schools Service and child protection and awareness campaigns like PANTS. Read our latest Annual Report (PDF).
