All day. All night. Always.

Abuse can happen at any time of the day or night. And when it does, it’s vital that children have someone they can talk to – no matter the hour.

That’s why our Childline counsellors are here 24/7 to listen and help with whatever children are facing, from abuse to everyday worries. We’re here all day, all night, always.

Please donate today to help us be here for more children.

Since my stepdad came into the picture it started off with him doing simple things like flicking me on the temple of the head, but now it’s got a bit more serious.

He pushed me over once and I fell backwards and hit my head on the corner of the bed.

Mum has also threatened to strangle me and hit me so hard that I ‘won’t be able to sit down for a week'. I don’t have anyone I can speak to.

Almost 75p in every £1 we spend goes directly to helping children and young people. This includes working with children and families, our helplines, our Schools Service and child protection and awareness campaigns like PANTS. Read our latest Annual Report (PDF).
