The Yoga Zoo Challenge is the perfect way to introduce little ones to yoga and mindfulness.
Nursery-aged children will have heaps of fun as they join Yoga Dog on her zoo adventures. You can use the first story, 'Yoga Dog's delightful day out' to teach little ones about different animals. Or you can use the new story, 'Yoga Dog's night-time adventure' and join the animals as they get ready for bed. In both stories, the children will learn simple, animal-themed yoga poses.
The Challenge is on Thursday 14 August, but take part any day that best suits your nursery. Take part in the Yoga Zoo Challenge and raise money to help keep children safe. To make your classroom feel even more like a zoo, why not ask the children to come dressed as their favourite animal??
Why children's yoga?
Children's yoga encourages little ones to get active, helping them build muscle strength and improve their motor skills. Alongside that, yoga and mindfulness can help with emotional wellbeing, resilience and behaviour.

Why your support counts
Everything the NSPCC does protects children and helps keep them safe - today and every day.
The money you raise could help to fund our vital services such as Look, Say, Sing, Play – this gives parents, carers and anyone looking after a child free tools to help them have more engaging interactions with their little ones.
The Yoga Zoo Challenge is supported by BEAM Academy who offer yoga and mindfulness classes for children and teenagers.
