On average, a child contacts Childline every 25 seconds

During the coronavirus pandemic, with schools closed and when home isn't a safe place for every child, many children have nowhere to turn for help. They need our Childline counsellors more than ever. We're working hard to ensure we're still here for children.

We've changed fast to make sure we're here when children need someone to turn to. But we don't know what challenges will come next. Help us ensure we're still here for children tomorrow. Please donate now.

"My mum is being very distant with me and I am usually very close to her. She's really obsessed with the news and she won't hug me or get very close to me. It scares me to think this will go on for months. She constantly talks about the coronavirus and my anxiety is getting worse."

We've seen an unprecedented demand for our Childline services as the coronavirus pandemic starts to affect children's lives. So far we've delivered 900 counselling sessions to children and young people worried about coronavirus.

We need your support so we can be there for every child.
